Fr. Andrew Maruszczak, SDS will be celebrating our Eucharistic Mass and Nuptial rites. Fr. Andrew takes over the role of Fr. Krys who is currently on sabbatical.
Liturgical People
The Liturgical Attendants are the people who will be helping us during the Ceremony. Aside from the Wedding Party, these people play an equally important role because they stand as witness and helpers for when we pledge our vows. Most of them are close family, relatives, in laws and friends.
Priest / Officiant
Principal Sponsor - Greg Yates, DMD
Greg was our RCIA Facilitator. A man with a great sense of humour, an awesome piano player (he can whip out a Billy Joel with ease!) and a person with great servant-heart - he is one of our principal witness to our wedding vows. :)
Principal Sponsor - Peggy McGinn
Peggy co-facilitated our RCIA. Always a warm-hearted individual, her quiet and kind ways endeared us so much that we want her to stand as a principal witness for our wedding. :)
Commentator
Tita Norma Dela Cruz - is the bride's aunt who hails from Washington state. An ESL teacher and a devout Catholic, we are honoured to have her lead us (with Father Krys) during the Wedding Ceremony. Tita Norma is married to Tito Naz (a retired US Navy) and the couple is enjoying their retirement in the beautiful and peaceful Whidbey Island. Tita Norma and Tito Naz has two children - Dale and Lovelynn.
Lector - First Reading
Dale Omar Dela Cruz - is the bride's first cousin from Seattle, USA. He works in one of the leading publications in the Seattle area and is recently engaged to Grazel! :) Congrats!!!
Lector - Second Reading
Chrys Nystrom - is Branden's sister in law, who is the loving mom of Morgen and devoted wife of Kurt. Chrys runs her own aesthetics business from their home in Carstairs, Alberta. If you need a good manicure and pedicure, give Chrys a shout. :)
Offeror - Bread/Host
Reghie and Ira is a mother-daughter tandem from Edmonton. :) Reghie is a long time friend and former co-worker of the bride from her Ayala Health Care days.
Offeror - Fruit/Chalice
Lester and Kyle is the father-son tandem who recently arrived in Calgary. Lester was a co-worker of the bride in Ayala Life.
Master of Ceremonies (Reception)
Fernando Nunes - We are glad and honoured that Branden's teacher and friend from DeVry has agreed to be our MC for our Reception. A computer& electronics whiz and entrepreneur who also loves to sing and play squash/tennis, Fernando will be our main host and he will be assisted by Weng's sister, Lyn.
