The Wedding Rehearsal and Dinner is a chance for the bridal party to get to know each other. As we're going to incorporate Filipino Catholic traditions in the Ceremony, we encourage everyone in the bridal party to be present on this day.
A small get-together will culminate this rehearsal. As of planning time, we are eyeing the Social Hall of St. Joseph's to be the venue for the dinner/program.

St. Joe's is dear to the couple's heart because apart from it being the 3rd oldest church in Calgary, this is where the couple attends their Sunday service and more importantly - is the place where Branden finished his RCIA (Rite of Catholic Initiation for Adults) in 2005. Also, Fr. Krystian Golisz, SDS - our officiant and Parish Priest of St. Joe's is a cool pastor! :) Hands down - this is the only church we considered for our Wedding Ceremony.

Photo Ops - After the Ceremony

We estimate the Ceremony to be over by 3pm. A Family and Bridal Photo Ops immediately follows at an outdoor place.
Outdoor place/s - TBA. We know for sure though that we request you to bring your SUNGLASSes with you. Thanks. :)
Guests are requested to be in the Reception Venue by 5:30pm for the Registration. There will be wedding displays and some quick activities that you are encouraged to try. :)
Cocktails follow at 6:00pm. Dinner will be served at 7:00pm.

Our wedding reception will be held at the Radisson Hotel Calgary Airport location. Guests are encouraged to be at the Radisson by 5:30pm to mingle and to participate in some fun activities that were set aside by the couple for all our guests.
There will be some prize/s and surprises for all those who will participate! :)

There will be Dinner and Dancing on our wedding reception. As the couple are non-alcoholics, we are having all liquors on a cash bar basis. Table wines, pop and juice will be provided by the hosts.

Branden & Maria attended a Marriage Prep Weekend for 2 days commencing on the 17th of June to the 18th of June 2005.
*A Marriage Prep Weekend is a good tool for entering into marriage. Couples can be easily lost in the details of the wedding - but the Sacrament is made manifest in the union of the two individuals in the Marriage. We recommend going thru this - as it is a time of deepening and sharing one's values and wants; and re-affirming of one's commitments to the Road Less Taken - a Promise of a Lifetime in Marriage.
